MEET JUDGE FONSECA
As the son of a Cuban immigrant who found a new life and ​hope in the United States, I am deeply ​committed to the principles that have shaped both my personal ​journey and my professional life. Growing up in South Texas, I ​witnessed firsthand the importance of hard work, integrity, ​and resilience—values that were instilled in me by my family ​and my community. As a conservative judge, I hold a steadfast belief in the rule of ​law as the bedrock of our society. I am committed to ​upholding the Constitution and ensuring that justice is ​administered fairly and impartially. My duty is to interpret the ​law as it is written, not as I might wish it to be, always mindful ​of the rights and liberties that our legal system is designed to ​protect.
